Music
A WORD ABOUT MUSIC IN OUR CHURCHMusic is an important source of worship in our church. With it we express our joys, our hopes our fears and our beliefs. We sing of God’s enduring love for the human race. You will hear of this love in anthems, hymns and the Spoken Word. Music is sung and played by people of all ages representing our Sunday School, Adult and Handbell Choirs. Music is a gift given to us by God. In some small way, we will use this gift to spread the Good News. May we proclaim the Glory of God the Father, Jesus Christ His Son, and the Holy Spirit in this, His world. We thank you all for your support of the Music Ministry of First Congregational Church in Bloomfield. May we all continue to labor on in the service of God. God bless each and every one of you and may we all dwell in the House of the Lord forever! Eustace B. Straker, Director of Music |

Let there be music wherever we go. Let us dance with every ray of light and sing with the birds as they take flight. Let us go into all the world and let us all musicians be. With the power of the Holy Spirit, let our praise be one with Thee. Amen. |
