Nominating:  Dorly reports that two meetings and a lot of telephone calls have been made.  They have filled two chair positions (Diaconate and Missions), but need help with suggestions to fill several more positions.  Council needs to review constitutional revisions and publicize them two weeks before the annual meeting in June.

Ad Hoc Committee:  This committee is winding down.  Kent circulated a handout with the findings and recommendations, and will do a synopsis of this committee’s work to be presented at the annual meeting.  He will also draft a section to be added to the constitution to cover the recommendation that the Nursery School be designated a board rather than a committee.

OTHER OLD BUSINESS

The council sponsored volunteer appreciation breakfast to be held on June 8 will be coordinated by Charlotte and Carol.  There will be notices in the bulletin…Kevin mentioned that the hiking group may reactivate for area day hikes to promote fellowship.
